Tara Stiles – Teaching Us About The Yoga Lifestyle
Yoga is more than just asana. It’s a lifestyle. Yoga includes asana, which is used to stretch the body prior to meditation. Meditation itself is a new world. Many other things make up the Yoga lifestyle. This lifestyle includes not eating meat and flesh. Although a vegetarian lifestyle can be fulfilling and rewarding, ensuring that we get all the nutrients we require is essential.
My first experience with vegetarian food was when I was bored with steamed or baked vegetables. But there are more. These ideas are not only innovative but also really practical.
Tara shares her thoughts about food and the things that she believes work. The recipes are all vegetarian and can be made with simple ingredients and kitchen tools, though a Vitamix might be helpful. The difference is that we can make our own rules. It’s easier to adhere to a plant-based diet when you can help us transition to it.
Through this book, we get to learn about Tara’s life and how she lives it. It is easily accessible for regular yogis. She also shares her yoga routines, meditation guides, and some background about how she grew up. I love hearing the reasons people begin to practice yoga.
Tara is the one thing I love the most. She confirms my belief that it is important to listen to your body. Nobody else can know what you feel. Yoga and diet can be improved.
I find it essential that she tells you the truth, even if it hurts to share her stories. Tara is a remarkable young woman who went above and beyond to help her tribe and make her passion and knowledge available to everyone, anywhere on the globe.
My main takeaway is that everything counts. You can start your day with a bit of meditation or perhaps some yoga asana practice in the evening, and then you can get in healthy food until it becomes a routine.
This book is an excellent resource for anyone new to yoga or who wants some inspiration on making delicious and easy vegetarian dishes. Please enjoy, and let me know what your favorite dishes are.
